- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Background info: My 13 1/2 year chocolate lab old Nikki had a large lump for over a year or so that opened up and was bleeding over the weekend. Previously my vet advised to leave it be , because he wasn't sure she would survive surgery. When I brought her in on a late Sunday evening ub July 2017, I was met at the door by Channon and Jerry who greated us by our car picked her up and were so warm, friendly and calming, that I know Nikki felt that too. She is usually timid aroynd strangers, but seemed to like the attention she was getting. After Dr. Holland examined her she came out and explained our options and suggested that it be removed and all the details. She was very compassionate and assuring to us that I felt ok with leaving her in her hands. She texted me during the night that my girl was fine and I could pick her up in the morning. We have had 2 follow up appointments since, Both wonderful experiences. Thank you to All, Nikki is happy, wagging her tail and moving around alot and just back to her old self, which for the last year or so she has not been.
